Against the odds I rise again to face the world anew
As she rises in the morning light so many miles away
We rise together and apart through our love so true
To face the day and the distance, and show what love can do.
I’ll be with her and her with I until the final end
We’ll chase away the shadows as we make a stronger bond
We grow from strangers, soon enough we’re more than merely friends

I only pray for guidance so I can bring God’s joy to her
