Into the night and through the dawn
Chasing stars and shadows
She asks so much of me to see
If I persevere through tests and woes
I struggle with her obstinate will
Her demands and imperfections
I try to hold my strength so true
And learn the vital lessons
If can God can grace her beautiful face
With patience and understanding
I’ll find the will to pass the test
And put her doubts and struggles to rest
