Doubt

I stand for her in the darkest of storms

I cling to her with all my love and strength

I pray to God to help me hold to form

To Him I pray and to her I give thanks

I know in my heart I can’t let go

There’s so much feeling within

More passion then any man could know

Without her, tremendous pain begins

I doubt my strength to just hold on

I doubt my fortitude

And when they question love as a con

I think them more than rude.

Hold on to me throughout the storm

As I will just hold on

Because if our love is true to its form

There’s paradise beyond.
