Dear Amarill,
What can I say? I really seem to have done it this time. God is really angry with me. Praying in Hell doesn’t get you very far. You said once to me that you wanted me to be strong. I actually remember a lot more then people realize sometimes. It just depends on what happens. I think God is frustrated with my obstinance. I didn’t want for this to happen. I walked among the damned, and I tell them my story, but they’re too wrapped up in their own suffering to even notice.
Yet they tell me their tales anyways, and I do truly listen. I was always good at listening. I never learned when to quit. Lucifer keeps a whole section for the damned star crossed lovers. They lament to me about their trials and travails, their passion and their foolishness, and I find much to relate to in their stories.
Lucifer has started playing games with me. He’ll play a whisper of your voice here and there, your image will appear, your words will pop into my mind… And I’ll be running so fast suddenly, whether towards you or away from this place I cannot tell. All I know is that the night closes in, and all I see is you.
